He didn’t know how she would react to his words but they had to be said. Caitlin couldn’t get away with this. She had treated him like complete crap for no reason. He had done absolutely nothing wrong yet she seemed to blame him for everything that had gone wrong in her life at the time they had been dating. Then she had run off to Sioni. And now she was with Nat. Seriously, she seemed to solve problems by getting a new boy. Well, Trent was done with that.

At least she was smart enough to respond back. He thought that she would. Or at least she would do something. But she didn’t. And Trent thought he was home free. Because if she didn’t stay quiet than that would mean he wasn’t able to get through that thick skull of hers. And then he’d probably just have to yell at her all over again. So he was happy that she seemed to get that he didn’t want to talk to her. He was happy to just lay there and try and fall back asleep.

"I don't blame you for hating me, Trent….I've been….a bitch. It wasn't right."

Turning on his side to face her, Trent raised a brow. “I thought I told you not to talk to me?” Rolling his eyes and rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. “A bitch doesn’t even do you justice, Caitlin. Sneaky…conniving….delusional….selfish…coward….I think those need to be tacked onto it too.”
