Again he wondered how his words were affecting her. Maybe now she was be able to feel a hundredth of what she had made him feel. Then again, he was supposed to be a tough, strong, boy. That just wasn’t him though. Trent knew that he was emotional and he couldn’t help it, try as he might. Caitlin just…she brought the worst out in him. It used to be the best but not anymore. And right now she deserved every cutting word that he was giving her. Sure she had never called him so many things before, besides monster, but actions spoke louder than words sometimes and she definitely had done more to him that way than anything else.

He didn’t like her crying but he wasn’t going to comfort her. So he tried to tune out her…until she started speaking to him. Sighing, he shook his head. “You can’t just…apologize for everything, Caitlin,” he told her furiously, sitting up quickly. That wasn’t a smart move. Gasping, he fell back onto the mattress and closed his eyes, taking a deep breath to fight the pain. “You can’t treat people like this! You may have gotten Nat or Sioni to forgive you by apologizing but that’s not going to work on me.” He waved a hand. “So apologize and cry all you want…You did this all on your own. I tried and you were…like you said…a bitch. I’m glad Roman listened to me and took you out!
