She never knew if Jeremy would get out at a decent hour, but he had owled her that he would be on time this evening so she didn’t expect him to be very late. Even by the time she had received her seltzer water she felt it wouldn’t be long before he showed…and she was right. The kiss to the side of her face made her smile and she scooted over in her seat to give him just enough room to move in beside her,; he chose to sit on the other side. “Oh I believe you can have this seat, sir.” She mused, and took another sip of the water before he said anything else.

She was beyond nervous to display the news, but sitting there with him, on time for once, had her reassuring herself that this was what they both needed. Perhaps, if she was lucky, it would be enough for him to find a way out of the trouble he had put himself into with Lamont. “I didn’t order…just got myself comfortable.” She smiled again, and then leaned over and kissed him lightly just beneath his chin. It was moments like this that she couldn’t stop herself from loving him, despite all the turmoil and worry. It was as if Lamont didn’t even exist.

“I always get here before you.” She grinned, “I’m starving, tell me you haven’t had a big lunch today…” Cause she was ready to devour half the menu, “Kevin and Timothy have some sick unspoken bond that makes him behave like an angel when were gone…we have a lot of time.” A lot of time she’d need to divulge her news. “How was work?” She asked, Magnus coming back over with his beer and bringing their usual favorite appetizer of bangers and mash. "Give us a few more minutes for dinner..." She told the elder man; he merely nodded and slipped back behind the bar.
