“Oh I believe you can have this seat, sir.”

"Good, because I would take it even if I couldn't," he told her, giving her an impish look before kissing her cheek. Oh, Merlin. He loved this woman. He really couldn't get enough of her. Jeremy still couldn't believe that she had chosen him and wanted to keep him no matter what he had done. And he still couldn't believe that all of this began with them literally running into each other in Diagon Alley.

"I can see that," he told her. He would have gotten comfortable too. Jeremy just enjoyed giving her a hard time. He laughed, though. She was always on time. He was always the one running late. That was because Magda was the responsible one. The punctual one. And Jeremy was just too slow and relaxed to be truly on time.

He raised a brow at his wife. "Really? You have to ask? You know that I can eat no matter how much I've eaten." He grinned and poked her in the stomach. "But I'm glad that Kevin is going to behave and was easy to leave with Timothy." Because the first time they had to leave him with a babysitter, he had not been happy and he didn't want a repeat with that. They had one vivacious three year old.

Jeremy wrapped his arms around her shoulders. He gave her a one shouldered shrug. "Work was work. It was actually a low-key night. Which is perfect because that's exactly what I am in the mood for." He nodded at Magnus and started to dig into the appetizers. He took a swig of his beer and quirked a brow up. "Dinner not yet? I thought you were starving love?"
