She glanced at him from the corner of her eye when he claimed they lied. He sounded, she decided, a bit like Nigel. Seeing conspiracy where there wasn't any. But, he didn't seem nearly as ready to lose himself in that fear as Nigel always came across, and so she let it pass by.

"Oh!" She remarked, when he suggested that the forest was frightening, even if he didn't use that word. "The forest is wonderful! There are all sorts of interesting creatures that live in it. Or," her eyes widened a bit, "on the outskirts." She had been into the forest, but the Head Boy didn't need to know that she, a new Prefect, had continually broken rules about the forest. "And it is. Pretty." She pulled her scarf more about her neck when he suddenly was snapping a photo with his camera and her brow knit in curiosity, though she didn't say anything.

Honestly, she was just trying to figure out this older boy. He reminded her a bit of one of Mason's friends, Roy. Roy was one of the few boys who didn't irritate her everytime he opened his mouth and he had the same, absent-minded sort of quality about him. It overpowered the bit of Nigel that he'd first hit her with and she fell into pace by him without too much concern.
