She wanted to believe that everything would be ok. She wanted that. She wanted that more then she ever had before. Yet, this was always the way she had thought and in the end he had managed to screw it up somehow. She didn’t want that anymore. She wanted to be sure that their family was safe, but how was she supposed to feel that when there was someone like Lamont breathing over their shoulders? It wasn’t likely.

Magdalena didn’t want to blurt out the news, but when it came out full throttle she knew it was what she needed. It seemed like she had been keeping this secret forever, and now that he knew, maybe, just maybe, he’d find a way to stop getting into trouble. How the hell was she supposed to raise two kids without him anyway?

“Yes I’m serious,” she sobbed, her face going into her hands. When he placed his own on either side of her face she choked back an even bigger sob and felt like dying. “Do you promise you wont go anywhere? Jeremy I can’t do this without you…not this time…not with Kevin being so young and me always wondering where you are…promise me you’ll always be with me.” She hated the begging and the crying, but she couldn’t stop herself. Damn hormones.

She smiled softly, “Yeah a baby, I’m about a month or so….maybe a bit more…the healers didn’t know exactly….” She kissed him quick on the mouth, “Are we ready for this again?”
