“I am? Odd, no one else has ever mentioned it.”

“I can’t imagine anyone thinking differently,” she told him. Honestly. Before they started dating, she knew about ffleurbert and had not heard otherwise. He had a reputation for being a good guy, from what she had heard about him. And thus far, he had not proved differently.

She smiled, enjoying the feel of them holding hands, of her being close to him. Ava was giddy. She had always dreamed of this. And it was so much better than she had imagined. She liked hearing that he was going to try and be creative. It was great that he was willing to try. Avaline was close to her brother and cousins and they were sweet but she didn’t know if they were this sweet and willing.

“Meaning what? I’ll not have you flogging off anything I give you, don’tcher know.” Not that he thought it likely. “No, when I give you something I believe it has to stay given.”

Ava wagged a finger at him. “No, no, no,” she said in her baby voice again. “I mean…I don’t have any limits on a gift for your birthday.” She poked him in the side. “You get no say.” Nope. Not at all.  She giggled as he kissed her on the head and then leaned into him further as they walked.

She quirked a brow at him. Plans? What kind of plans. She wanted to find a place first though so they could be settled for that kind of discussion. It was hard though. They were behind on the game and other couples had beat them to all the good spots. When they found a place, Ava frowned when ffleurbert kicked the younger years out of place, and she was about to tell them that they could find another place, but then he offered an alternative and she grinned.

Ava got comfortable next to him, loving the feel of his rising chest, listening to him breathing. She looked up at him, avidly listening to everything that he was saying. She giggled as he kept kissing her, blushing at his suggestions that had to do with anything but studying. He was really making it hard to focus and actually make plans. And it was really hard to give him feed-back when he was kissing her that way.

Eventually she pulled away, giggling. “Oh…no, you are perfect on these matters,” she told him, grinning. “Studying must happen but,” she blushed, “I like the idea of some…personal time too.” Ava kept on grinning. “Good feedback,” she told him. “I think we need to mess around with this; find a place that we like and call our own.” A place where they wouldn’t have to worry about being interrupted and just get to be with each other. “Lucky for us, we have lots of time to do that. Like right now.” Her eyes lit up. "Ohhhh, Hogsmead. We are going to have SO much fun there." She clapped her hands, excited.
