Charms was fun in that Flitwick was pretty cool and didn't get mad hardly ever. Also he usually had some sort of fun activity planned for the class. Tucker had, however, found that pay attention in class, even one that he rather liked, was difficult, at best, now that he had a girlfriend. He much preferred to trade notes with her or watch her or daydream about snogging her right in the middle of the class and getting something like a million house points for his technique.

In some classes, like History of Magic, he could get away with it. Or in Herbology and Astronomy. Potions, with Snape walking about the place like an irritated snot, he didn't so much as glance at Lizzie. He wouldn't put it past the ill-tempered wizard to do something nasty like poison a student who irritated him too much. In Charms, it was usually a toss up if he could spend time just watching Lizzie or not. Today, it appeared, was one of those days when he would have to pay attention. At least a bit.

Taking a moment to kiss the back of his girlfriend's hand before she let it go, he sent up his homework (which Lizzie had finally insisted that they finish last night) and then paid attention to the ball floating in the middle of the room, surreptitiously tugging out a chewy caramel which he popped into his mouth to suck on. Honestly, this was why Charms was worth it all. Screwing up his face a bit, he took up the ball as Adam handed it off, giving the quiet Prefect a thanks.

"Alright, so, shall we get this going? I'm not too color with sharp spells - er, sharp with color spells...but Wingardium Leviosa," he set his ball to floating, "that's easy enough." He spoke around the glob of caramel in his mouth, sucking at it as he eyed the ball floating in the air.Â
