She didn't know Sabrina all that well, though the little time they had spent together had been pleasant. Of course, that could be that, so far, most of their interactions had occurred as a result of something going sour in Caitlin's life. No, that was unfair, and she knew it the moment the idea had popped into her head. Smiling again, she shut the door, leading Sabrina towards the kitchen.

"Bit of a nuisance when it comes to having a nice chat."

Caitlin couldn't help but to smile over at Sabrina at that. Leave it to the older girl to hit the nail straight on the head without making it awkward. Once in the kitchen, she gestured for the other to have a seat while Sabrina chattered on about Sioni and his problems with some girl. That had Caitlin frowning as she set up the tea pot with water. The next bit she shared send a wave of relief through the young girl, her eyes sliding closed for a half moment. Bless Sioni for having told the story to Sabrina!

She shot Sabrina a look that said it all: it sucked. Horribly so. There was so much she wanted to tell others, to share with others, but she had no ability to do so. Frustration didn't cover it.

"Well, anyway, here I am. So how are we going to make things better?"

Caitlin's frown turned to a smile and she looked at Sabrina, lifting her brows, and gesturing at her in a way that she hoped was understood. She wanted to know what Sabrina had been doing. How Italy had been. The tea started to whistle and she finished getting out the tea items.
