Maybe it was a bit difficult. A bit. Okay, maybe a little more than difficult, and she was right about them getting more tomorrow, but it didn't make him want to snog her any less. It was just that snogging was so much more fun than he had ever imagined it would be. he liked how his heart would beat faster and how soft she felt in his arms. He liked how she would tangle her fingers into his hair and the soft sounds she would make as they kissed.

What he didn't like were all the ridiculously logical arguments she seemed so good at making. He could only mark it up to the fact that she had been raised with three older brothers and they had clearly taught her how to hold her own against a guy. He wanted to argue back each of her points, out loud, though he didn't dare. Still, he wasn't at all that against the third point, though the fourth had him making a face. It was a face more because he knew that he would do whatever she wanted. No questions asked.

Okay, maybe a few questions asked. Maybe a lot of questions asked. She appeased him before he could argue with a kiss and he had to remind himself that he needed to be good. Or at least try. Snagging up his bag, he started to paw through it when she spoke again.

"Do half of it and we'll think about taking a wee break out behind the armor."

At that, he couldn't help the grin that broke across his face, nor the way that his chest puffed out a bit. Feeling quite appeased, he got out some work and flipped open his Transfiguration book, tugging out a sugar quill, he started to nipple at the end of it as he read, setting it aside only to scratch out some notes with his real quill before once more chewing on the sugar quill. He was able to stay focused for a good five minutes before he was looking over at Lizzie and paying far more attention to how her face contorted softly as she concentrated.
