This has been a far better time at school than Colby had anticipated, even without family there to be part of it all. He supposed, now, that he probably could have brought his sister, but it was too late to consider that idea. Heading outside to meet with the other students, he took note of the rather beat up looks on two of the girls' faces his curiosity quite intense, but before he had a chance to go ask, they were being given instructions and his mind went to the task with single-mindedness.

It took him little effort to figure out how to spray the blue on the ground and, once they were let free, he started on his way, his eyes slightly closed, much as he'd done on the pitch during the school term and as he'd done since returning for this event. He'd taken only a few steps when he was jerked to a halt. Carefully, he started along the path, not yet spraying anything. Not until he found what he best determined to be the end of the chain. Bending down, he carefully ran his stick back and fort, trying to see if he could determine the width, but he didn't seem to be able to figure that out.

Slightly frustrated, he stood back up straight and this time worked his way down the chain adding the blue paint until he reached an end. It seemed easy enough and halting, he turned to look back, noting that the line wasn't straight, but curved somewhat. Pulling out his notebook, he took a few notes down about this find, shoving the notebook away again and moving onwards to find the next.
