As her brother decided to stay and have tea, Caitlin glanced over at him, a hint of a smile tugging at her lips. Gavin was never much one for sitting about sipping tea out of cups and trading gossip. He was more the sort to take tea only when he was feeling poorly about something, or just flat out sick. He just had never much gone in for the whole tradition of tea. To see him sitting at the table nibbling a biscuit and apologizing for teasing her, it was all a bit much, but she didn't dare to call him on it. Not quite yet. Instead, she grinned over at Sabrina's comment, giving a shake of her head and returning the thumbs up.

Her attention went back to her brother as Sabrina explained what she was doing, keen on how her brother would take to all this. She wasn't in the least bit disappointed either.

"A world traveler, is it? That's ambitious," he said, taking a sip of his tea before he tossed a quick look at his sister, hoping she would stop that idiot grin she kept drawing forth. What was wrong with him wanting to have a cuppa with two beauties? Er, with two young women. Right, there it was. Two young women, one who was his very lovely sister and the other his sister's very lovely companion.

He didn't realize, right off, that he was looking over at Sabrina with a rather stupid expression on his face. The moment he did, he gave his head a shake and looked back down into his tea. He shouldn't be sitting here drinking tea with girls, and yet, his head lifted to look across at Sabrina anyway. "What about the well to do English bloke? Got any good designs considered out for them?" What was that? He merely held his cup and wondered at his inability to be, normal.
