The furthest Gavin had been from home was Ireland and Scotland, but never out of the British Isles. That cost money, after all, and though his family wasn't overly poor, traveling had never been much of a draw for any but Mason. The sheer volume of animals on their property - thanks to Caitlin - meant vacations were generally local and not long, at least for the family as a whole. Most of the girls Gavin had dated weren't so ambitious as this witch, either. Most of them were content to work in a shop and to take a trip out to the beaches once in a while; next to Sabrina, they seemed far more dull than usual.

Looking to his sister when Sabrina invited Caitlin to the possibility of a glam show, he grinned as Caitlin gave a nod indicating that she would be well pleased with such a plan and then Sabrina was talking about the difficulties of men's clothing. Considering that Gavin owned one suit that had been purchased a few years back for a wedding (or a funeral - he couldn't recall), he wasn't all that well versed in the styles of men, but she was right. Clothing for guys didn't tend to change much. He laughed at the spandex trousers; Mason had been fool enough to wear those, but Gavin wouldn't even consider a pair of skin tight acid washed jeans, much preferring his comfortably fitting, straight leg jeans and cords.

When she turned the conversation to him, however, he rather much wished they stayed on the topic of her. Still, he gave a laugh at her joke, elbowing his sister lightly. "Even if she weren't all clammed up lately, she wouldn't talk much about me. I had grand dreams of playing football for England at some point. Weren't all that lousy out on the pitch, either. Bum knee," he explained before she could ask, the knee hurting instantly as if the reminder made the knee feel obligated to ache. "Right now I'm managing a nearby pub. Not exactly the grandest of dreams, is it?" he commented, Caitlin's hand on his arm giving a squeeze even as he said so. "Caitlin thinks it's brilliant, but then I think she's just taken with one of my employees," he said, gaining a hard kick to his leg and a look from his sister.
