"You do seem very opposed to testing."

“Isn’t everyone?” She raised a brow, a small smile on her lips. Seriously. Who liked tests? Knowing Walt, him. He probably got thrilled whenever one was announced. Over joyed. Merlin, why were they friends again? And why was he still helping her? He wasn’t even getting paid anymore. Oh, right. The friend thing.

"Because it's the middle of November, and it's bloody cold out."

“Doesn’t mean they have to make it a bloody sauna in here.” Brigitte attempted to push the sleeves up further but they got as high as her elbows before billowing out around her. At least she could get them that high. It didn’t make her any cooler though.

"Alright. Summoning charm.  Try for that book over there."

“Fine, make me do all the work.” Brigitte stared at the book but didn’t raise her wand. She glanced over at Walt and smirked. Oh there were so many jokes she could make right now about a “firm wand.”

“Right. Reaching.” Sighing, Brigitte faced the book again. Might as well get it over with. Lifting her arm, she straightened it out, stretching it, reaching it out toward the book. Before she could even get a word out to summon it, though, she was tipping over and stumbling into Walt. “Ooop!” she said as it happened. “Guess I reached with too much of my body.”
