"Evil brothers… I think I got ya beat on that one. I don't think Ashby considers it a good day until he has made at least five people cry,"

Brigitte laughed. “Ashby hasn’t made me cry yet so I’ll consider that a plus,” he said, grinning. Then again she didn’t really make it a habit to run into Ashby on a daily basis. It wasn’t that she avoided him, it was just there was no reason for her to seek his company. And generally speaking she was in places that he wasn’t. It was a large castle that they lived in after all.

As he seemed to seriously consider her question, Brigitte bit her lip. She really hoped that he pulled a rabbit out of the hat because if here was a way that she could have her music, Brigitte would be happy beyond words.

When Daniel pulled out his wand, Brigitte inched toward him, leaning forward to see what he was doing, or rather, to see what if it was going to work. She had no idea what he was doing. She was good at potions, that was about it. This was something that seemed to just go right over her head.

"Well, it was worth a shot. I'm sure if you can find the right incantation, it'll work,"

She had no idea what had just happened but whatever it was, it hadn’t worked, it wasn’t helping her out. Brigitte sighed and shrugged. It was just too depressing.

"Besides, you're not that bad at magic,… You seem to get all the lessons just fine, especially in potions,"

Brigitte snorted. “You do remember I was held back, don’t you?” She rolled her eyes. “Potions is my one saving grace. And that’s just barely.” She shrugged. “I had a good tutor. But it doesn’t matter, nothing beats being held back.”
