Tucker didn't argue the point about the hello with her. Maybe he had acted a bit of a jerk, but then, playing mix up with Joel was so easy to do, he'd not put a bit of thought into it. He didn't give an apology though, because then she was trying to claim that her costume wasn't anything to worry about. That it was simply her playing a part. He frowned, completely unconvinced.

"And if the period dress called for entirely baring your tits, you'd do it? Seems a poor excuse to let guys ogle you. And they were," he added. He'd seen plenty of lad glancing her way and, had he any idea it was her, things might have gone very differently at the masque. 

"It's nothing to do with embarrassment, either," he assured her. "It's just not...right. Or proper." There, he'd said his thoughts on it. He knew most of the lads thought any sort of hint of cleavage or leg was something to want more of; Tucker just couldn't feel that way.
