He was both leading her children astray and undermining her discipline, but there was bloody well little she could do about it. If it wasn't sticky buns it would be something else, and she was too tired to fight with him about it. It was how he had always been. She both hated that about him and loved him for it. If one of her feelings could stop contradicting another, she would not complain.

"No. No the Mews House. Charlie won't sleep anywhere but her crib." Not even in Esperanza and Kaleb's bed. When Grace had been little she wanted to sleep there, Charlie on the other hand only slept in her crib, if she could help it. Occasionally her younger daughter would fall asleep hunched over her toys or in the middle of the floor, when she just couldn't stand giving up playing to take a nap, but she was very good about staying in her own crib and not wanting anything else. Grace was not and had never been. It did not matter which place Espa set Grace to nap, she inevitably moved. The sitting room, the nursery, the bedroom, the dining room floor. It was always a struggle with Grace. Sioni would get to find out. Then next time she said no, maybe he would listen.

Kaleb was desperate for a son. Espa was not. It was a struggle.

She smirked a little. "Well, I suppose I can think of some other things that need doing if you're free. And if my children don't wear you out too terribly." They would. Grace was half way though a sticky bun and Charlie was making a horrible mess of a biscuit. Esperanza caught a mush covered hand seconds before it ventured in to the child's dark hair and removed as much former biscuit as she could from it. "Charlie May need a bath as well, but I'm not going to torture you with that chore." She did want him to speak to her again. Perhaps it would have been easier if he didn't. Giving Charlie a bath might scare him off well enough…

"I don't apperate with the children. We walked from home to the park, and it wasn't that far." And she had managed it by herself, and only once had to drop everything she was carrying save Charlie to grab at Grace so she would not run out in to traffic. It would be much easier with Sioni watching Grace, that much was certain. "It will give Grace some time to burn off Energy.
