Usually Poppy remained for the duration of breakfast, rather enjoying the time to relax and know that most of the school wasn't in immediate need of her help. Some mornings, like today, she had a few things to prepare before eight and she had intended to do just that today. She had left, just as Mr. O'Malley had made his declaration of love, a roll of her eyes all that the attention she'd given to such a thing. Most of the staff took moments of random idiocy - the non-harmful sort - as just part of the job. Thus, she'd left and had been spending her time working on checking through the list of a few potions she needed to prepare for a few students that day.

What she didn't expected was for Miss Cunningham to arrive and land in her chair in the office. Frowning, she was about to tell her to get up when the girl was showing her the cuts and listing out the reasons for them. It took Poppy a moment, but she gave the young girl a very small smile and then bent to check the cuts.

"These aren't that bad," she said, using her wand to quickly fix them and then, using her wand to draw up another chair, she sat down.

"First, thank you for coming to tell me. This, Miss Cunningham, shows that you're taking things seriously."
