Kate would likely have been embarrassed if she was privy to Nigel's thoughts on her dress.  She didn't like to make mistakes, even mistakes that came through no real fault of her own.  If he wanted her in muggle clothing, he should have sent his missive in a less magical away.  She knew they had a mail system, even all the way over here in London.

“Can I get you some tea before we discuss business?”

"Oh no, I don't like your tea."  She wasn't really supposed to say that.  Nat had told her there were some that might extradite her for such a statement.  She thought this Mister Lemon might be one of those people.  "I mean water would be lovely.  Thank you."

She sat only when he gestured to the other chair, and then it seemed it was time to get down to business.  Kate would never call herself an intelligent girl.  She struggled with simple spells, and the lingo over here often left her baffled.  What a CV was she couldn't fathom.  She wasn't stupid though, and this wasn't her first rodeo so to speak.  She'd auditioned for parts before.  Never in an office quite so sterile as this one.  What exactly did these Wright Industries do?  She looked suspiciously at the man infront of her.  "This is an actual singing job, Mister Lemon?"  She wasn't some stripper looking for work.  She took these things seriously.

After a moment she pulled a large envelope.  Inside, her resume on a single sheet of cream colored parchment. Kathrine Camille Blishwick. Mezzo-Soprano.  Accompished soloist, dynamic performer. 4 cotillions.  One owl-o-thon for charity.  two musicals.  Two radio special guest appearances.  The tour of the south, which had included actual concert halls and her biggest shows.  A handful of performances back at home.  There was of course, a noticeable gap in the resume, but she wasn't afraid to defend it.  The education section was a little bare, but she'd studied under Baron Deflant from the WADA so that was there.

"Oh, ballads are fun.  Do you provide back up accompaniment Mister Lemon?  And the people at your party, will they want to dance, or just have something pleasant to listen to?"
