Good Prefects probably shouldn't drink hot chocolate. Drains the super powers. So Yes, thanks."

Pippa laughed out loud at that, rather thankful she hadn’t been drinking hot chocolate at the time. That going up one’s nose would be quite painful. She rather liked catching him off guard, apparently he was breaking curfew too. No sense in patrolling in his PJs, although it was a great color on him. Pippa couldn’t imagine that he would be able to garner the right about of fear in the troublemaker by appearing in his night time wear. Though, she couldn’t imagine him giving any troublemaker that much of a hard time.

“You surprise me, Munro. I thought all prefects had to be major killjoys with a stick shoved up their bums. How did you manage to skip those qualifications?” Pippa asked as she pushed the plate of scones between them, just in case he happened to be a bit peckish as well as thirsty.

"Homework?"

She shook her head. She honestly didn’t trust anything she wrote from midnight to about 6. Professor Snape might be expecting an essay on the importance of dragon scales only to get a paper on why one should never take scales off a dragon. It was one thing to write it in a rush at breakfast, she then was pretty sure that keep on topic.

“Apparently, it drains Ravenclaw powers as well. Might want to give your housemates a heads up,” she teased Walt good naturedly as she held up the letter. Who knew hot chocolate was such kryptonite to so many people? She almost said that but didn’t feel like have explain the whole backstory of a raven haired alien in tights.

“Letter, actually. But I’m a bit rubbish about writing them in general, so you can see how far I have gotten. Dear Dad, that’s it. Oh and the date but that’s just as bad,” Pippa said as she held up the letter, if one might even call it that. She took a sip of hot chocolate before continuing.

“There should only be two letters ever, bad news and love letters Every thing else is kind of trivial, don’t you think? I mean, there’s only so much ‘Miss you dad and I’m going to lie about studying. Oh and I haven’t lost any points for Gryffindor so far but hey, it’s just the first week back so...yeah, you know?” Pippa asked. She knew that she was kind of rattling a bit but it was pretty late. Or at least, that’s what she would blame it on.
