If he'd thought about it, he  wouldn't have worn this particular costume. But seriously, beyond the first laugh at the idea, he hadn't thought much at all.


Besides, Quidditch players were popular at Halloween. It was an easy enough costume to get. All you had to do was send an owl and some cash to Quality Quidditch, and there you were: complete costume. Then do a spell or two, to change your hair color, and slap on a mask, and you were good to go. The bat was easy; there were loads of one's down in the locker rooms. And if a particular player from a certain team was in the news, that made it topical, right?


Where was the harm?


Besides, the Falcons had two beaters like everybody else. He could be Sioni What'sisname.


Just because he was dressed like Kaleb Broadmoor didn't mean he was actually supposed to be him.
