"Moira. This is not working."

Moira couldn't help but laugh for a good while at the expression on his face and the obvious distress he was suffering over this egg painting. "Oh, Billy! Use your wand already!" she said showing him how much easier it was by pointing her wand at an unpainted egg then seconds later, designs beginning to form on it. She wasn't really very artistic but her eggs looked nice and clean. She wasn't one for the terribly intricate designs that took an hour to do...she just liked clean lines.

"Look at this one,...It's got a crack right through the middle... like a thunderbolt. So I painted it black -...and with a yellow thingy... but..."

She tilted her head, looking at the...interesting design. "Well...well it's," she paused, trying to find the words to describe it. "Lovely!" she finally settled with since words like "odd" or "interesting" probably would only hurt the boy's feelings. Hopefully everyone would be kind to him about his eggs. They might even think they were neat since it seemed with teenagers that the odd was always in.

"But - I've still got so many to do...It's maddening! Eggs, eggs, eggs! And most of them aren't chocolate either...Help?"

The girl giggled, taking the basket from Billy and placing it on the table in between them. "We'll divide and conquer! How's that sound?" she asked, in a rather motherly sounding voice. "But really, just use your wand," she said just before picking up her paint brush and dabbing a pink dot right on the boy's nose. She quickly set the brush down then continued with her work, pretending as if she had done nothing.
