Oh, what a shame.

The sixth year cocked her head slightly, not sure if Billy was being genuine or not. It was very hard to tell, with him, especially if one was inclined to take things at face value, like Tanya.

Really, it is.

Nodding solemnly, it appeared that the younger Ravenclaw had, in fact, taken him at his word. The trouble with her poodle skirt was she'd worn it so often she was, quite honestly, sick of the sight of it. Still, he'd have the privilege of seeing her wear it before the year was out. It was only a matter of time before she dug it out again.

Yes, of course! But its rather interesting though... it isnt bland.

Surprisingly, Tanya grinned at this. She appreciated honesty, and really, being a crazy cat wasn't so bad. When he continued with - and it certainly gives you character. You might be overlooked if you werent so crazy. she gave his words due consideration. At first, it seemed a little offensive in some obscure manner, but the more she thought about it, the more sense it seemed to make. This sense was compounded by his finishing revelation;

No-one wants to be overlooked, do they?

She smiled a little bit, looking at the seventh year with the expression of someone who's just worked something out. Yes... That would explain a lot about Billy. She couldn't imagine anyone overlooking him; he demanded attention in ways subtle and, well, not-so-subtle. Nor, come to that, could she imagine anyone wanting to overlook him. He was great fun, really. Lost in her thoughts for the billionth time that day, if not that conversation, she barely noticed he was continuing with the song, only looking back up when she heard her name being mentioned.

Argh, Tanya... that song has been chronically playing in my mind like a broken record player, make it stop!

This required the help of someone whose focus was always a hundred per cent present, or at least someone who paid attention enough to spells to remember exactly what they did without revising them four hundred times before an exam. However, the only one faced with the problem of helping Billy just then was Tanya, who produced her wand dreamily. Yes, she could help. The trouble was, the spell she was considering helpful was not exactly the spell she thought it was. However, since she wasn't aware of this rather important factor, she gave her wand a little wiggle, to see if Billy would permit her to use a little spell to rid him of the cursed song. Tanya, being prone to getting songs stuck in her head quite frequently, did actually know a spell to rid them temporarily from one's mind.

Canto, however, was not it. The effects of the minor dueling spell would leave the victim singing for ten seconds.

"Anythin' for you, foxy," the sixth year said, looking neither serious nor amused. "Think I've got a groovy charm to get rid of it."

The keyword being think.

(ooc: Miss Maz, if he's up for it *cough* then just PP Tanya using the spell. Non-verbally, of course. >>; This is a weird idea, but, well, yesh xD)
Give me the words and I'll say them like I mean it

'Cause you've got my heart in a headlock, you stopped the blood and made my head soft...
