When she suggested that the place be a private one, Julian could not have agreed more wholeheartedly. The experiment they were going to conduct necessitated that degree of privacy to keep it in a controlled environment. Of course, the notion of it becoming an item of gossip was enough reason to have him shrinking away from any public forums. He would have to face far less embarrassment being a wizard and amongst his friends, than she would being a witch among her own. If nothing else, it would be for her benefit.

When she began to list a dozen places, Julian had trouble keeping from yawning, especially when she listed the merits of every situation she presented. She was at least being thorough, he could give her credit for, in the same way Binns was 'thorough' rather than 'long winding,' note the sarcasm.

"I think the Prefect's Bath sounds perfect," he said simply, adding silently, and divine at this very moment. Slipping his hand from her own, he was constantly surprised when he found it there, unable to remember how that had occurred, Standing and warily rubbing the back of his neck, he said, "It's decided then. All right."

He had every intention of ending the conversation on that.
