Clayton wasn't much of one to spend time in Gladrags on a Hogsmeade weekend. He wasn't much of one to yuck it up over a mug of butterbeer either, come to think of it - not that he didn't mind a good laugh now and then.

However, that didn't address his reason for being in here today. The reason for that was with his mum. Her birthday was a month away, but the next Hogsmeade weekend was two months away, therefore he had to get his mum's gift today.

Entering the shop, he looked around from the front door for a few moments before moving in and starting with the scarves. A bright red one (his mum's favorite color) caught his eyes and he lifted it from the display giving it a critical look over before he shook his head. It just didn't quite hit what he wanted.

He looked through the rest of them before moving on to the handbags when he recalled his mum muttering something about needing a better one, and then he was hopelessly lost. Scarves he could take a guess at - handbags? Not a chance.

And so he stood, a confused look on his features.
