"In general, yes. You want to choose something that goes with the majority of her wardrobe and matches most of her shoes. BUT if she usually wears dark colors its okay to go with a splash of color...like red, as you said...for a hand bag. As long as its not too far out of her tastes....May I?"

She held out her hand for the rather gaudy hand bag he uncertainly held and shook her head.

"You have to be careful though. Gladrags is a nice store of course, but sometimes you'll find hand bags like this. See the side pockets? crooked seems. And some of the beading is cracked, so it probably wont last long. Loose strings are a deffinate trouble sign."

She plucked a few other hand bags from the pile. A simple red, a slightly larger black one with delicate embrodiery, and one made of a tawny colored material. After inspecting the bags she offered them to Clayton for his opinion. "You'll have to tell me when I'm getting closer."
