She watched tacticfully as Gibson stared at the dress, creases in her face becoming apparent. The greed and lust in her eyes and the hurt [as well as anger] she was trying to keep bottled up behind her quivering bottom lip. A broad grin stretched itself upon her face as her hazel eyes glimmered. It served a tainted blood to know what she was out bid for something. The actual chances of Contessa wearing the robes were slim to none in all honesty and innocence, but she'd buy it just to get a rise out of the girl.

Tessa tilted her head from side to side as she continued to tease the girl with her touchings to the fabric. It could serve more of a purpose if she were to wear it to the ball and show it off. On a figure like hers, it would practically cling and bring everyone to her feet with questions. It would also serve as a reminder to Ms. Gibson just who was the better person in the mix of it all.

"Oh this dress will do very, very well." she whispered quietly and started to take it off its rack.

She tilted her head to the side when she heard the girl whisper, a brow lifting. She certainly hit a mark closer to home than she thought. If Contessa weren't mistakened, she did hit home. She nodded her head politely, keeping her smile as her devilish eyes watched her.

"Really? I'm sure it is something much more dashing than this piece of fabric," she chided. "I could probably cut this up and make into something worth wearing. It is lovely on its own but it could be made into something better, and if not" she teased with a bit of malice. "I'll give the scraps to the trash can. A house elf would do better to give it to, but then the bloody thing would be set free and I just couldn't do that."
