Michelle wore her red heels to Hogsmeade that day. She was going to meet Plum, the woman Michelle had come to view as the oracle of all things fashion-wise, and she was determined to show off how well she could wear these much discussed shoes. And really, they did wonders for the look of her calves. She had debated for a whole week over what she ought to wear with them, finally settling on a dark blue knee-length dress with a white sash. The dress was either old-fashioned or classic, depending on your point of view, but it was not too tight, too cold, or too anything except maybe too dark for April. She carried a small white handbag with a red flower pinned on it, to match her shoes, and felt entirely conscious of her appearance as she stood there on the street corner with Luke in the early spring sunshine.

"Thanks for be willing to share the day with my sister and I," Luke said.

This rather drew her out of her mental focus on fashion, reminding her of exactly why they were there. She gave his hand a squeeze, smiling. It was Lukes birthday, and his sisters birthday, and he wanted her, his girlfriend to share it with him. Being introduced to a member of his family seemed like a significant kind of thing, and Michelle felt sufficiently nervous about it. Shed worked off a little bit of her nervous energy roaming about Hogsmeade, although not into the Three Broomsticks. Shed rather wanted a butterbeer. She hadnt had one since shed visited the pub with Jordon before Christmas. But that seemed to be out of the question as long as she was with Luke, much to her general annoyance. But yes, Michelle was going to meet his sister.

Do you think shell like me? She hung her bag over her shoulder and smoothed back her hair. How do I look?
