"For the millioneth time, you're welcome,"

Plum couldn't help making a bit of a tsking sound and rolling her eyes at Josh. "You know, not everything is about you," she reminded him. No, there was someone or something bigger to thank for this all. Happiness- true, unadulterated happiness- wasn't something Plum was privileged enough to experience very often. But this, this chance, to see Luke, whom she loved more than anything or anyone else, to meet someone important to him, to share something with him... Plum was sure if she looked behind her, there would be no footprints. She was floating, and it was only her courtesy hold on Josh (she couldn't imagine walking with a man and not taking his arm, really) that kept her from flying away.

And she couldn't help but smile as they neared a very nice looking Luke with a pretty girl in red shoes. At first glance, she couldn't help but approve of this girl, if only because of her fashion sense.

"Hi," Plum said, at an utter loss for any other word. She let go of Josh's elbow and almost flushed a bit. "Happy birthday."

Youre Josh Cloud!

Plum almost laughed. "Please, please, don't remind him. I highly doubt he's forgotten." She turned to her escort to say, "Thank you very much, Mr Cloud. I'll see you in a few hours then?"
