He ignored the confetti in his own hair and on his own face as he tried to duck another hail of it, though it was rather pointless. He'd never actually been in this place for a Valentine's Day extravaganza, though he'd heard plenty of horror stories about it. When an arrow zinged right by the side of his head, he frowned, though it turned from a frown to a lovestruck grin as he watched Michelle blinking confetti from her lashes.

Reaching over, he brushed some from her cheek, and leaned in with the intention of kissing her lips before he halted and backed off, feeling entirely stupid in the same moment. The next moment he became far too aware that the tables were filled with other couples and they were still standing in the middle of it all.

Maybe we can get one of these cherubs for the common room. It would be brilliant, dont you think?

That comment, right there, had him laughing and broke the moment of awkwardness for him. He pointed out a table near the window area and lead her over, removing his cloak and reaching for her own.

"I think the rest of the blokes would agree with me that that's a definate horrid idea," he commented.
