Sparkly. Michelle was too adorable. And she was his girlfriend. For Luke, he'd had any number of them, even a few at the school. Past girlfriends had been far different from Michelle; as different as the temperaments of a manticore and a unicorn. Come to think of it, most of his past girlfriends were far more manticore-like in their behaviours and mannerisms while Michelle could certainly be described with the innocence and beauty that one often ascribed to the uni-horned equine.

Nodding at her comment, he reached for a biscuit and, in the manner of a boy with a bottomless pit in place of a stomache, he downed it in a few bites chasing it with a large gulp of the sugared tea. "Honeydukes is a definate yes," he agreed. "And we'll buy out the peppermint frogs for ya," he added as he picked up another of the little sandwiches and devoured it. Not that the foodstuffs were particularly pleasing - Puddifoot's had never been on the map for the actual food - but it was, in the end, food.

"I can't say as I'm all that sure," he responded, looking at the rolled up pastries with a searching gaze, idly poking at one before picking it up and giving it a sniff. "Too bad we can't get something over at Broomsticks."

The words had fallen from his mouth without thought. His last time in Broomsticks had been quite the fiasco between meeting his sister, Plum, getting into the duel with Jordon and then being banned for the rest of the school year by Rosemerta as she took pity on Michelle and ousted the two lads. Oddly enough, he never had given that particular day - in terms of the duel and Michelle - much thought. The two had, apparently, pushed that to the back burner with the unspoken agreement that neither would bring it up.

Until this moment.
