Michelle really couldnt believe that Luke was eating so much of this so-called food. Was he so starving that he didnt notice the taste? As for those other weird, rolled up things, Michelle avoided them all together, sipping her tea and smiling as Luke evaluated one of them.

Careful with that, she warned him. It may bite.

"Too bad we can't get something over at Broomsticks."

And that made Michelle pause with her teacup poised half way to her lips. It had been two whole months since the incident in the Three Broomsticks and she hadnt really expected to ever discuss it with Luke. Michelle had been an entirely new combination of angry and frightened after that particular Hogsmeade visit. She was angry about how the boys had behaved, frightened by all of their fighting, and confused about why it had happened at all. Her confusion had been somewhat cleared up later on after both boys showered her with their different brands of gifts and kisses over the holiday, rather enlightening her nave self. A small amount of irritation lingered, however, regarding the way Luke had lost his temper and hexed Jordon first. Hed really started it, and that just wasnt right.

What do you mean we? she said. I could certainly go in there and get something decent to eat if I liked. I may yet. Michelle laid her teacup on the table and folded her hands in her lap. I heard that Jordon went and talked to Rosmerta and is allowed back in there now, Michelle told him. She hadnt heard any such thing, but she decided that it ought to be true. Im glad, too. He really didnt deserve to get kicked out.
