There was something terribly delicious about teasing Luke this way. It was as though he was always surprised by the most natural kind of sarcasm from her, and it amused Michelle to no end. It did, however, have to come to an end at some point. Shed rather liked having a boyfriend for the short time that it had lasted.

"How about this? You pick out the girl and I'll go with it, yeah?"

Michelle grinned broadly at that, and was unable to suppress a small giggle as she stepped into Honeydukes, brushing her hood back from her head. The giggle was replaced with a delightful shiver, though, when Luke drew up so close behind her and tickled her ear with his hot breath, describing his preference in girls. Michelle reached to take his hand that grasped her waist, but he slipped away from her and she smiled as she saw him perusing the options in the shop.

Taking up an empty basket from near the door, Michelle sauntered around a barrel of Jelly Slugs, surveying the girls in the shop, and then made her way back over to Luke. She leaned close to Luke and whispered to him.

I think that girl by the Bertie Botts display might do for you. And she nodded slightly in the direction of a girl with very dark hair who was laughing a touch too loudly with her friendsa girl who was likely almost six feet tall and who had a very generously padded backside. Of course, she seems to be avoiding the peppermints and the chocolates, so that may be a drawback. Michelle frowned and looked about the room again. As she did, she paused by the Peppermint Toads to fill up her basket with as many of the silver little boxes as it would hold. She turned on her heel and passed near Luke again. The little Ravenclaw by the Coconut Ices looks promising, but that boring blonde hairI dont know how you would live with that.

Michelle affected a long sigh and shook her head as she popped two Sugar Quills into her basket for good measure. Well, as a last resort, you could always ask me out againalthough Im not really sure that you ever asked me out in the first place, come to think of it. But youre so picky, you know. I dont know if youll find anybody to suit you. With that, Michelle carried her basket up to the counter, unhooking her money bag from the inside of her cloak, and gave the harried shopkeeper a pleasant smile.
