Walking down the street with Luke at her side, his arm encircling her backit was interesting. Nice, warmer, and interesting too. She was quite certain that today was the first time that shed ever walked anywhere in public with a boys arm around her before, and here they were walking down the high street where all kinds of classmates could watch them. It would give them just one more thing to gossip about her, but this time Michelle didnt care.

She shifted the Honeydukes bag in her hand, so that the handles didnt cut so much into her fingers. So many Peppermint Toads, as delightful as they were, were quite a load to tote back to the cellar.

"You wanna head back? If we get back early enough, I could probably manage to get some food from the kitchen and we could have ourselves a bit of an indoor picnic near the fire and skip out on the hassle of dinner."

That would be nice, Michelle said, her voice low. If the kitchen isnt open, we could just have Peppermint Toads. She held up the bag in front of her. Id say theres enough here for several meals in a row. And really, there were an important food group all their own. Thank you for these, by the way. That was really sweet of you. Having spoken her thanks, Michelle leaned over and placed a soft kiss against his cheek.
