Saying bye to her friends had been...interesting. What with the giggling and the eyes and all that had been tossed at her as she, blushing a bit, raced down the path towards Madam Puddifoot's - a place she had heard about from older girls but had never once been in. Reaching up to tuck an errant strand of hair behind her ear, she halted in front of the door, her heart suddenly hammering so hard in her chest she was sure that everyone walking by could hear it.

Jamming her hand into her pocket and feeling that her gift for Matthew was still there (and hoping against hope that her brother-in-law had gotten the right thing, because even with what Matthew had been teaching her, she wasn't sure) she took a deep breath and pushed open the door, her nerves only growing when she saw Matthew sitting at a table.

But, when he didn't look over and see her, a mischievious grin spread to her features and, carefully, other patrons giving her conspiritorial winks, she snuck up behind her boyfriend and clapped her hands over his eyes, leaning down and whispering close to his ear, "Guess who?"
