"Hey, what else was I supposed to do?"

Marni gave him a warm smile. "Buy me some flowers, call it a day. Really," she said giving him an appreciative smile, "This is very nice of you."

As Madam Puddifoot came by Marni ordered the same as Fabian and then turned back to him. She noticed so many girls around the room checking their reflections in mirrors, windows. Marni hadn't given another thought to the way that she looked after she'd achieved said style. She conciously gave a swift, brief glance into the window, but didn't really notice anything out of place. She shrugged, girls could be so vain.

Of course the continuation of this thought was haulted as Fabian took both her hands, leaning forward, her lips meeting his. She kissed him back softly, the scent of perfume and Winter wind lingering in the air, their lips slipping expertly against each other, her eyes fluttering closed just for that brief, heavenly moment.

Pulling away, still giving him that small, sincere smile that had been on her face since they'd first set out today, it faultered just for a moment.

"So, shall I broach the question myself then?" he asked.

Marni quirked a brow, looking around. He'd been talking to her. But she had no idea what he was talking about. "Um...." she rubbed her lips together, thinking to herself how utterly sticky lip gloss was, "....what question?" Marni asked, confusion passing over her face. "Did I miss something?" she laughed nervously, trying to back track the conversation and wondered if she'd spaced out on anything he'd said.
