"A fit? 'Bout what?"

Marni shook her head as she laughed and pointed unceremoniously to the cupid that was fleeeing with embarrassment. She grinned at his innocent smile. Yeah right. had she not seen him do it, it would have been very convincing. As it were, Marni couldn't stop laughing long enough to voice that thought.

"Whatever happened to him?"

"Oh-yeah-right!" she gasped through her giggles as he innocently took another cookie.

"Marni! Did you do that?"

"Me?!" she exclaimed, even though she continued to laugh. "Oh yeah sure, I did it-"

"You did, Mr. Prewett. And you're dismissed from my teahouse this instant. You and your date."

Marni contained her laughter at the sight of Madam Puddifoot. However, she did seem to mind the woman's obvious anger, or being dismissed. In fact, she still seemed to be trying to contain giggles behind her grin.

"Aw, but.."

"No. You're not about to charm your way out this time, Mr. Prewett. Now leave."

Marni stood up to, still snickering a little as she saw the cupid hiding in a corner.

"Sorry." Standing, he reached for her hand.

She took his hand, I'm Fabian Prewett's Girlfriend she thought delightedly to herself as she looked at where their fingers interwined. She pressed a kiss to his cheek as she led him out.

"Don't be sorry," she said to him with a smile, "I think you're funny." she grinned. She didn't even know why she was was being so accepting. It might have been the exciement of having a new boyfriend, it could be that she'd been drooling over fabian for years. Whatever it was, she only ever seemed to give him positive feedback with a smile.

"What now?" She asked raising her eyebrows with excitement. She didn't really care where they went, so long as Fabian went with her.
