"Roguishly handsome, am I?"

"Yes, your the one that my mother warned me about. The ones with the wild eyes and the smile that could melt even the coldest of hearts."

"I think you'll have to use that in all your love letters to me from now on, Miss Chant," he teased. "I'm a man in need of much ego stroking."

Holly raised a delicate eyebrow in his dirrection, clearly it said that it would not be happening any time soon.

"You in need of an ego stroking? I think not Mr. Prewett."

Then he was off being uncomfortable again as she mentioned homework. Holly had no idea what was going on. Maybe he wasn't do well in their DADA class. The blonde though back to their conversation over the break, about his wanting to be an auror. Putting two and two together was easy. He obviously just didn't want to talk to her about it.

"Besides, we need to go. I have..um..just, come with me."

"Gideon! But..." She looked back at their tea and then to his back as he pulled her from her seat and toward the door. Leaning backward she grabbed her two boxes with a quick hand before tripping after him.

Yes, he was behaving very strangly.
