"You're absolutely right." She rubbed a hand over her bicep and simply looked over his face. "I don't think you've been more right about anything in a long time."

"Nonsense," Matt said as he straightened his tie, "I'm always right." he said in that way only he could. He was so pedantic that it couldn't be anything but endearing. He successfully straightened the tie and looked back at her, "Honestly Theodora, you'll catch up one day, I swear. But until then here's a forumla to always go by. Rule number 1, I'm always right," he said ticking rule number one off his finger, "Number 2, If I am ever wrong refer back to rule number 1." he said giving her a big grin.

"You'll do what you have to do. I'll stand by you in that."

Matt paused for a moment giving her a softened look. "I'm going to take care of this, I swear. I want you to know you're every bit as pure to me as you were when I first met you, honest." he said taking her hand in hers again. "Once I've taken care of this, we'll put it behind us. Never talk about it, not ever. It will be as though it didn't happen." Matthias said to her. He wanted her to know everything would work out and that he would be strong for her, for the future of his family, their family...that he could be that strong.
