He rubbed a hand along her arm.

Theo remembered the last time his hand was on her arm and smiled at that thought. What a long way he had come. Well, what a long way THEY had come. Likely enough, he didn't see the change until Christmas, but looking back, she could see it before then.

"Well what now?"

Glancing at the door, Theo murmered, "I really should get back..." She didn't really WANT to go back, but still. Too much time with Matthias always made for an arguement.

"Maybe you'll let me take you shopping?"

Her pert nose wrinkled and she shook her head, "No, too many people... A walk, instead? The air will clear my head better." Stoicly ignoring the comment about being taken in a corner, Theodora simply skipped over the words and chose what she felt safest responding to.

Really, she didn't want to think about being taken at all. Matthias was going to have a hell of a time getting her into bed now, even on their wedding night; it would certainly be an interesting match, she mused to herself.
