Rhett le tout a yawn as he mad his way through the cluttered streets in Hogsmeade. It was the first Hogsmeade weekend of the school year, so, naturally, there were herds of students everywhere. Rhett had gotten pretty sick of the students already, especially the much youngers years who seemed to be so incredibly immature and unnaturally giggly. He swore he had never been so annoying when he was their age, but really, he was. Through his fourth and fifth years, Rhett had been "that annoying kid always tagging along with the sixth and seventh years, trying to fit in". But now he taught them, so, instead of just threatening the younger kids or throwing hexes at them, Rhett actually had to politely tolerate them to an extent. Though, it was pretty obvious he was getting fed up with them; Rhett had become increasingly terse and snappy with his students. Though, he was still well behaved with the older years, mostly because they were more mature and closer to his own age.

Regardless, Rhett thought getting out to Hogsmeade and visiting Jacquie would provide him some escape from the squealing students, but obviously, he was wrong. Luckily, however, Jacquie was the smart one out of the two and had anticipated the onslaught of students and had arranged for them to meet at the Hog's Head. Rhett turned down one of the streets and headed towards the shady bar. He had on his usual pair of black slacks and a dark green button up t-shirt with his black cloak pulled over. School had just started and Rhett was already worn out, not only from all the responsibilities that came with being an Assistant Professor, but also from the meeting he had with the Dark Lord a few days before he moved into Hogwarts. The meeting was still hanging heavily on him for many different reasons. First off, it wasn't easy to forget one's first experience of being Crucioed. Even though the effects had, of course, well worn off by now, he kept thinking about it, mostly because if he failed or upset the Dark Lord again, he would undoubtly suffer through the curse again, or maybe even one of the other Unforgivables.

But today wasn't a day to think about that. He was here to meet with Jacquie and take his mind off everything that was going on presently. Today was going to be his escape, even if it was only going to last for a few hours. Entering the Hog's Head, it only took moments for Rhett to spot out Jacquie. He quickly ordered a glass of vodka on the rocks before weaving around the tables and over to where Jacquie sat. Rhett walked up behind her, as he usually did, and slipped an arm behind her and lightly placed his hand on her lower back. "Jacquie, Luv, you are quite the site for sore eyes," he said softly with his thick Irish accent, his grin curling further upon his lips before letting his hand fall from her back and taking a seat across from her.
