Content as she was to find their meeting moving on to crucial topics, Minerva disregarded the issue of her former student's vice with a highly pointed look in Albus' direction. Truly, at times she hardly agreed with the man.. Though she wasn't about to do him a disservice by voicing needless critique; nor was she about to allow such a petty triviality as Collier's choice of drink to distract her from the matter at hand. Dismissing the latter's greeting with a brief but reasonably good-natured "Likewise, Mr Collier," the straight-backed witch resumed to listening to her fellow colleagues and their respective opinions.

It was hardly any different from a regular staff-meeting.

Aside the lopsided addition of Collier, Morgan and Lestrange, the exchange of thoughts between the professors practically followed an unspoken yet highly familiar sort of protocol. Opinions where trumpeted, sides were formed and civil arguments flaunted; all for the purpose of convincing the opposite end of the spectrum to see their point..

"It is always the case with youth to push against the rules. Even during years when we have had no restrictions beyond the basics put upon their weekends, we have had rule breakers. Typically," his eyes sparkled as he looked over at Leathan, "those ones are found more often than not in the House of Gryffindor. I, of course, would push for extending the hours for the older students on Saturdays only from three to six in the evening. However, I would like to hear your take on it, Minerva."

And, eventually, it was her turn to speak up..

"Indeed," She commenced, vague acknowledgement sounding in her voice. "I too must admit that my students have been particularly unruly as of late; however, I hardly think extending the hours of Hogsmeade visits will quell their rebellious spirits. We should not reward the students for breaking the rules, Albus, nor would extending the curfew with a couple of hours prevent further outbreak thereof. Suffice to say I know my students well enough to tell you that they will not be satisfied with a mere few hours extra,"

"Besides," She halted, briefly, eyes flickering from Collier to Slughorn to Morgan. "As Mrs Morgan pointed out, it is an unnecessary risk. While at Hogwarts, the pupils' are under our protection; and whereas the student moral is of undeniable significance I would rather not we jeopardized their safety for it. Period,"

"Sleep; I don't need sleep, I hide my life behind me,
Dream; I keep on dreaming, My conscience lays beside me,"
