The extent of Rabastans knowledge regarding the poor bugger he had bee assigned to punish was minimal to say the least. Other than that the man had done something wrong Rabastan knew nothing about him. He was just another hooded and masked Death Eater, albeit a very stupid one and one who was, no matter how hard he fought, about to get sorely beaten and handed over to a very hex happy Auror. Really, the guy must have screwed up considerably.

Rabastan paid little attention to the various comments made about Hogsmeade hours, glad only to hear that he wasnt about to have to work longer or in conjunction with the Aurors. He was waiting, waiting for the first individual to blast through the door - for Rabastan was sure this man would be of the blasting sort rather than just opening the damned thing - for the first person to enter would be the one he had to fight, beat, and give to the dementors. Really Rabastan wasnt expecting much of a fight, however he knew better than to underestimate and opponent. In the heat of the moment even the stupid could work great feats of magical ability, occasionally.

However he didnt have to wait long for just as Minerva McGonogall effectively closed any further discussion regarding Hogsmeade weekends the door, as Rabastan had suspected it would, blew off its hinges. The entire table was up in no time as first one masked figure, shortly followed by another entered the pub.

"Expelliarmus!"

The man, all too conveniently aimed at Rabastan who deflected the curse with a flick of his wand, sending a number of bar stools flying. He needed to keep the mans attention focussed solely on him, lest someone else kill him. He was under strict instructions to keep him alive.

"Supplantum!

Childish but effective, a trip jinx which sent the man to the floor. Once there however, Rabastan had to be careful what he did to him. He needed more Death Eaters to arrive, general panic to break out before he could do anything particularly nasty. It would look good if the Hit Wizard started spouting off illegal curses that he wasnt even suppose to know let alone perform. Realising that the man would probably be all too able to retaliate he sent another jinx at him while he waited for the mayhem to begin.

Amburere!
