Frederick

He seized his targets mind, and set his will instantly to redirecting the mans attention. Go. Attack the old man. Attack the old man. Hes offended you, called you stupid with that smile. Attack him. It seemed at first that his sheep was obeying. But then, out of some strange, practiced doubt, came retaliation. His control was shoved away as easily as a snake sloughed its skin.

Frederick cursed aloud, an ordinary curse along the line of profanity. His quick mind fashioned up a Stunning Spell, but just as he lifted his wand a charm came flying his way from his very target. The man had swift reflexes indeed!

The wall of air slammed hard into the thin Death Eater as he shouted Protego in his mind, shoving him backward into a wall. A shield spell wasnt much use against a physical force. His back crashed roughly into the sturdy wood, and Frederick raised his wand from his pinned position. Stupefy! he ordered his target, then sent his previous curse winging after it, in hopes to catch the mans mind off guard and hold it. Imperio!

Lucius

A glimmer in the air before Flitwick announced Malfoys blocked spell, and he prepared himself for the quick-to-come retaliation. The laughably simple leg-locking hex disintegrated against his own Shield spell, summoned with a thought. Flitwick followed up with a speed that Lucius had forgotten, but what really caught him by surprise was Professor Sprouts entrance into the fray. Her dueling hex shattered against his shield, but also proved enough to break that precaution. Lucius had no time to recast it before the Dueling Masters charm hit.

Shoulder met floor as the bolt of force knocked him off his feet, and Lucius didnt waste his time trying to rise. His new vantage point allowed him a clear line of sight toward Pomona among the legs of tables and chairs. A sharp intake of breath refilled his forcefully emptied lungs as he deemed Sprout and Flitwick to be close enough together. Ignoring the pain of his bruised ribs, Lucius flicked his wand. Arceo! The internal-blocking cage was altered to enclose them both.

And to follow it up, Lucius twitched his wand at the support of the nearest table, crashing the thick wooden surface down to make a physical shield between himself and his targets. He was smart enough to realize that this fight couldn't be won. Dumbledore was present, afterall. They simply had to hold out until the objective was complete.
