Unable to catch up, Pomona Sprout later realized that the last minutes were very much of a blur to her. She had heard pained screams, seen a flash of green light and the victim of the Killing Curse slumping on the floor with a stilly thud. It was the first time the witch witnessed it, her eyes widening in speechless horror as she observed the Auror, whom seemed to be deeply shaken by his deed.

"Enough!"

The fast-forwarded chain of events ended with this, everyone freezing in their spots. The center of attention was now on none other but Dumbledore, Pomona being no exception in this. Almost transfixed, she watched the older wizard cast a charm she didn't know, which presence could be felt in the air of the pub.

It was truly the end as with silent cracks the assailants disappeared, one of them taking their unconscious comrade along. The spell was ended soon afterwards as Dumbledore went on with his directions, Pomona nodding at those directed at her. Taking one last look at the scene, she turned away and headed towards the castle.
