Leave it to Curtis to forget minor details. He had completely and totally forgotten that Abigail had no idea that he was a wizard. Well crikey. When he saw the look on her face he wanted to turn and bolt but that was out of the question now. Shed be asking questions soon and he would feel incredibly awkward about it. It wasnt exactly that he was keeping this part of his life a secret from that side of his family (or her for that matter) he just didnt feel the need to inform them of it if they didnt ask. His father wasnt particularly keen on him being a Wizard so he took it that the rest of his family wouldnt be either.

"Curtis!...Curtis, what are you... what are you doing... this is Hogsmeade!"

He couldnt help but grin madly at the look of shock on her face. Well, darling Abigail, Im glad youre here to tell me where I amI thought I was in Denmark for a minute there, he said rather cheekily.

"What are you doing here?"

Well now he couldnt avoid answering her anymore. He just didnt really know how to go about saying she wasnt the only magically apt person in their family and he had just been neglecting to inform her of it. She was a teenage girl, she could get all mad at him if he said the wrong thing. Well, I was thinking about getting a drink. And yourself? he asked, deciding that he could avoid it and he would just let her ask better and more productive questions.
