Immersed in a relatively interesting article, Deryn didn't even bother to look up from her newspaper as the creak of the door announced arrival of another customer. She was positive that it had to be just another one of the likes currently drinking their problems away in the far corners of the dark pub; definitely not the interesting sort.

The familiar voice, however, proved her very wrong. Deryn lifted her gaze from the aforementioned article as the newcomer announced his arrival with a knock of the bartop, before speaking up to her. She grinned, recognizing the Hogwarts student, and tossed the newspaper aside, a lot more intrigued by the young wizard. Kaycee O'Neil had taken a habit of making recurring visits to Hog's Head nearly every Hogsmeade weekend they were given, she had noticed, but she didn't mind that in the slightest.

Deryn my love, he grinned leaning both his elbows on the hard surface before him. You look even more ravishing then last time I saw you. Did you do something to your hair?

"Why thank you, Kaycee dear," Deryn replied, grinning at his flirtatious compliment, as her green eyes studied the wizard in front of her. "You're early. It's not a good idea to start drinking at this time in the morning," She teased him, with a mischievous smile.

((Again, sorry for the horrible lateness. And I will have another post I owe you tomorrow at the latest.))

Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
