Billy listened to the words that Jacquie seemed to be mumbling, or maybe he was getting so tipsy that his hearing was selective for certain words and phrases. He nodded, and bit his bottom lip thoughtfully as to conjure up the image that yes, he was indeed taking in every single thing that Jacquie was saying. Maybe if he drank more beer, the foggy sensation in his head would clear. Though, the Scottish lad knew that was far from the truth but why not use it as a good excuse to drink more? Lifting the tankard to his mouth, he felt compelled to guzzle the whole lot down. But instead he merely took a large gulp.

"Yeah, I still want to be an auror, but I think I am going to become an interrogator. That's the Teddy Bear's department."

Aye, an interrogator. Ye mad rocket, thatll be fantabulous. Ah hed a teddy bear once but och, hes dead now. Poor thing. My hogbeast - excuse me, Billy cleared his throat, he knew he was again slipping into the language and accent that only family could understand. Right, my cousin thought it would be hilarious to rub him in magic mud, by the gods, teddy was completely howlin. Ah wanted tae hurl. the boy, who was becoming more steadily drunker and intrigued with the tragic story of his teddy bear. Never mind the fact that he was completely unashamed in admitting that hed ever had one as well as being near incomprehensible.

"That's it Billy, aim for the stars! I always knew that you would do well."

If Im not careful, I might be aiming for the toilet bowl tonight. Billy said starkly, making eyes at the amber liquid and then draining the rest of it with a swift gulp. He felt the warmth of Jacquies hand on his shoulder, and the weight of her she leaned on him. He turned to face her with somewhat glazed eyes and furrowed his eyebrows. Maybe shed had too much to drink... poor girl. She really should learn to increase her tolerance though.

Oi, you dont look too swell. Wanna move onto the spirits? he asked excitedly, giving Jacquie a shove on her forehead. "Ye would be better for it!" he assured. Stupid boy.
