The early Wednesday morning found Gawain Robards, tall, well-built and nursing an unfriendly facial expression, stepping off the elevator and onto the Law Enforcement floor, ready for his third day (in two weeks) with Leathan Collier. And Orion Madison.

What was Gawain's impression of Leathan? Well, he hadn't interacted with him enough to form an opinion yet, but his first impressions showed him an uneccesarily cheerful persona hand in hand with a laid-back attitude and not enough seriousness. He had an even lower opinion of Orion Madison, what with the boy's constant flirtations with any attractive female that walked by him.

Gawain remembered hearing something about Collier from his father, a Hit-Wizard at the MOM, but it had been a long time ago, and quite vague. When Gawain had told him who he was interning under, his father had not sounded too happy, though of course it was hard to say, since his father was rarely anything but unhappy these days. And of course, Gawain had not seen his dad since last Thursday, and he showed no signs of coming back home.

Today, as Gawain followed Orion through the doors, giving the boy a wide berth, he watched him weaving his way through the offices of the other interns, and eventually lost him, as Gawain followed the straight path to Leathan's office, and Orion went his own way.

Still, Gawain found, upon reaching Leathan's office, that he was, after all, the slower of the two interns. He walked in just in time to hear Leathan's, "Mornings sure come early, don't they?" and Orion's "So what's on the agenda for today?"

Gawain growled a greeting in response. Whatever Leathan meant for them to do didn't promise to be too exciting. The past couple days were proof enough of that.
