This one could bite; he'd keep that bit of knowledge tucked away in the back of his brain. Raking a hand through his damp hair, he tilted his head and gave her a very searching once over before meeting her eyes, his lip quirking upwards a bit before he leaned against the edge of her cubicle and stuck out a hand.

"Elphais Haddock. Looks like we're partners for the next two years."

He hadn't wanted a partner, but as a senior member of the intelligence division, he had very little choice. Very little indeed. Rufus had made that abundantly clear. And so he would have to make the best out of a sticky situation. He'd not, as of yet, had to take on a partner; but then, everyone had to a few times around.

"I'm over," he said, nodding to the cubicle to the right of him, "there. For now, assignments will be handed to you either directly from Rufus or from me. If you've got questions, concerns, worries, whatever, ask."
